Installed in February of 2021. “post: processing” was a collection of mail art submitted through an open call asking artists from around the world to respond to the 2020 United States election cycle and particularly the fraught time period of processing between election results and presidential inauguration.
The call for mail-art was posted around the internet and specified that artists “might consider a range of creative and critical responses tangentially related to the US election cycle. We are asking artists to dig through existing materials and create new works that relate to the processing of the last four years – by way of our postal system. Works should fold to be smaller than 5″ x 7″ when shipped through USPS.”
